What Next!?
June 30th, 2015
When the weekend was over and the workmen were back, the Humms were back to the Embassy Suites. This meant that at least in the afternoon, the Whites were at the E.S. too! An fun evening of swimming and hotdogs was going on....
If being out of your house for weeks wasn't bad enough, a trip while chasing after kids led to and emergency room visit and an opportunity to wear some sweet hospital disposable pants (hers were too tight around the legs and they said they would have to be cut off after the foot was all wrapped up!)

p.s. It is now August and anyone who reads this knows that this led to the whole rest of the summer needing a schedule of who was taking care of the Humms as Emily headed into four weeks of NO weight bearing (using crutches and a scooter) which meant no driving, no picking up Charlotte, really not much of anything. This has been followed by weeks in a boot and it was only last week at the end of August that she started taking it off and being able to drive, take care of her kids by herself! This was definitely NOT how she (or anyone really) planned to spend the summer. Actually, Snappy is pretty sure the kids loved it. Delivered by their dad to Snappy or Aunt Liz everyday with lots and lots of togetherness. And Emily and Michael were a real troopers through it all.
