Blessed Boys

Train Them Early

Amen

Again, I say Amen. Holden and Griffin's baptism was truly a holy day.  Thank you Fr. Jim for a very personal and amazing service.  Thanks Emily and Michael for being awesome Godparents and hosting a wonderful reception after.  And most of all thank you God, for Holden and Griffin, beautiful children of God.

Just getting dressed was quite an ordeal.  Maybe it is a good thing these guys don't wear slips and dresses everyday.

Successfully dressed and full of happiness with the Godparents.

The babies were taken to every pew for blessings from the congregation.

"SSSSHHHH" says Emily - and they did!

Griffin listens intently to Fr. Jim as he is annointed.

The kids in church all came up to watch.

 "I baptize you ...
... and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

Fr. presenting Griffin to the congregation. I missed Holden with the camera!

Children of God - all of them.  Amen.

Time for Pictures?

Who has time to take pictures? Friday was time for shopping prep and cleaning before the babies' baptism. I took ONE picture despite having all three boys together.  As Connor walked me and the babies to the car, I got a quick snapshot.  I think he was giving me the stink eye for taking H & G and not him !

Elizabeth had time to get a hair cut so H & G came home with Snappy. Holden had time to lie on the floor and suck his thumb till he was sound asleep.

Griffin had time to just get cuter and cuter.

The Little Things

Sometimes it is just the little things that make me realize the impact of TWO babies.  Just to get ready to leave to go home for the night is quite a production - but E & D have it down !

And Some Things Stay the Same

These girls have sat on the floor in front of the fire since they could sit.  Connor learned to sit up in front of the fire and with H & G the tradition continues.

Yikes!  How did we get a naked boy in front of the fire - now THAT is a change!  At least he is working.

Some Things Change...

Yes, we used to watch movies and play games after dinner.  Now there is a hub bub of activity but it has certainly changed.  We try to keep everyone happy.
 Sometimes we succeed.
Cute boys want to be picked up by their mamas and aunts.
And even after jammies are on there is still time to take a baby doll on a truck ride through Uncle D's legs.

Happy Birthday D!

Fatherhood looks good on you! Birthdays might be a little scary for Griffin though!  Don't worry Griffy - you have some time to get ready for your first birthday.

Three little Monsters

All three dressed alike in little monster outfits out for a wagon ride.
I wanted a picture of them all lined up but Griffin was in Aunt Emily's arms and this is what Hoden thought of the idea.

Just Practicing

Look who showed up practicing for Halloween!  ROAR Lil' Lion.

Scrub-a-dub-dub - Two boys in a tub

All those dirty boys meant Snappy thought it was bath time.
Yes, everyone thought I was crazy but not H G & C -
they just had squeaky clean FUN in the bath together.
Even Snappy was not brave enough to put all three in -
that will have to wait until G & H can sit up.
 Holden was first.
Happy boy who loves the water.
Hey!  Who poured water on Snappy's head?
Griffin's turn to get scrubbed by Connor.

 Let's wash his tummy...
 And then his back.
