A Dessert to Toast JoJo

After Church we came back for another meal and then a quick dessert. (Charlotte really did go to church in fancy clothes but it was silk and somehow it got shed during dinner. We just had to use JoJo's icecream cups for our dessert and we needed a little crushed peppermint. Snappy organized a candy cane crushing activity.

Involving rolling pins and baseball bats.

It was yummy! Here's to you JoJo - two of your favorites: green glass and icecream!

All I Want For Christmas

This is what I want for Christmas...a little time to play.

Charlotte and Snappy set up the doll house.

Holden started his excavation set.

Charlotte is putting all the puzzle pieces in a bag that had been full of baseballs...whatever works!

Doesn't every kid get this sometime?

Cookies for Santa

We had eaten meal one (brunch), opened presents and while Charlotte napped we the boys were making cookies to leave for Santa tonight. First came painting with egg whites.

ummm....did someone sneak away to find some real icing. (ok, from a can, not really REAL icing)

Now it is time for some icing decorating.

And lots of sprinkles.

Squeeze....

And when it looks like you have enough on your cookies just start eating it.

Santa will love them!

It was a mad house...not much picture taking worth framing! but below is a snapshot or two of the chaos.

Baseball pants and belts were a hit.

Snappy's homemade bunnies were loved.

The doll house make over was awesome. This was Snappy's Barbie house made by Papa Jon when she was nine. Then it was Elizabeth and Emily's and finally Charlotte's. Elizabeth and Snappy worked hard to "remodel"it.
