Hey Girl

Two sweet boys were dropped off at Snappy's today for a little play and nap time while their parents had brunches and business to attend to.  

 Hey Girl!  You want to play beanie babies with us?

 Let me take off your hat girlfriend.

 Wait Holden, let me touch this girl's face.

 She kind of smells funny.

 I am looking away...you touch her. Do you think she is real?

 Her eyes close if you poke hard.

 I don't know.  Do you think we should play with her?

 I think I will just take this little one.

 Yeah, me too.  Her hair is much smoother.

 But, really, I like this dog and his tag even better.

 Hey girl...are you watching me.

Mr. Napkinhead

Maybe it was the wine but at dinner Mr. Napkin head made an appearance.  

 We could not catch our breath from laughing so hard.

 Even Connor played Mr. Napkinhead.

 Connor would have that fun Aunt Kate here every day if he could! Just look at that smiley face.

WINE-rs

The whiners on the fresh air adventure were rewarded for their wine-ing.  A little DUBOST tasting -with lessons from Aunt Kate on wine pairings

 With cheeses.

 And fruit...

 And nuts and honey - yum.

 It finally woke Keagan up with a "what are you doing mama?" kind of look.

 With a little Snappy story time going on too.

Thanks Aunt Kate - it was fun and oh so good.  Special thanks to winemakers Jacob and Zachary too.  We felt you right there with us.  Love you all.

We need FRESH air

After a day at Play Boutique, Snappy came home from work to find everyone napping at her house (everyone except good old Aunt Kate who was babysitting while Emily and Elizabeth went shopping) When naps were over Snappy declared some fresh air was needed by all.  

There were some whiners in the group but Griffin said LET'S GO!

 C put his hat on himself.

 Make a wish - I wish Kate was here every day.  Really. 

 Yikes - we found a really big "dig-dig"  on our adventure.

 Strongman C took of with "Holdie" on his own.

 Which was fine until Holdie decided to stand up in the wagon by himself.

Fresh air is a lot of hard work.

Play Boutique

If it is Bunny Cake it must be...

Easter!  No wait, Easter is over.  It was just a dream that poor Emily had all through her pregnancy to have bunny cake and since Aunt Kate was the only one who still made bunny cake at Easter, she and Connor decided to make one for mama.

They mixed...

 And stirred...

And licked... 

 And buttered the pan...

 And tasted...

 And decorated...

 And just look at that finished project.

 And this is what happened after it was all over.  Yum - Mo!  Thanks Aunt Kate, MJ will be proud of you.
