Fish Tale

The only real "tale" is that MJ sent this outfit and Connor looks pretty cute in "fish" ! 

 We are working hard to get ready for Emily's birthday dinner tonight and C is LOTS of help. :) 

Favorite job?  Pushing the chairs around.  That's a help, right?

Putting the babies to bed for a nap seemed like a good idea. 

The dolls went right to sleep.

But Connor's not sleepy at all. . . just look at this picture and you can see that is one big FISH TALE.

Oh Happy Day!

Oh Happy Day...When Papa played....he played the day away !

 It was not all play.  Working boys need to eat. . .

 Who needs toys when you can get in the kitchen cabinets?  Word has it that they put cushions on the floor in the garage and played with a big pile of bungie cords ! 

 A little peek-a-boo. . .

 Wishing and watching for the rain to stop.

 Of course, some piano playing.



 And definitely Connor knows where all the favorite toys are kept.

Oh happy day indeed.



pā 'ana a ka lā!

This means SUNSHINE in Hawaiian. It might be 75 in Oregon but we can always pretend we are in Hawaii.

Dinner for the crew on tap -
Tortilla chips shaped like surfboards (thank you Trader Joe), Mango pineapple salsa, cerviche, kahalua pig, teriaki chicken, rice, mac salad, green salad (first one with three kinds of lettuce from the garden!)with blueberries and macadamias.  A little POG for the juice drinkers, some pina coladas, longboards and waialua wheat to drink.  All followed by lemon and coconut sorbet with fresh kiwi, mangos, melons. 

All this meant one hau`oli Snappy!  That means Happy Snappy!

Lots of Looks

How can one kid have so many looks?

 This one is what Michele thinks is his sexy stare...can a one year old have a sexy stare?

 The serious "don't bother me, I am thinking" look.

And then there are the many faces of being

trapped in the high chair!

A little this and that

A little Papa entertainment - first with the vaccum.

 Then with the flower pots.

 He even tucked a little toy into papa's briefcase for Papa to discover after he got to the office.

 A ball, a rock and a block...now that sounds like fun, right?

Tractor Time

 By the looks of that grass a lawn mower may be needed instead of the tractor. First Connor checked it out from scoop -

 to rear lights (which he figured out how to remove.)

 

 Finally it was time to go - go - go!

Snappy's Favorite Shirt

 Yep!  That shirt really says "SNAPPY" - how perfect is that?  I really wanted to buy them in every size.

Sous Chef

Friday morning breakfast and C is getting old enough to play Snappy's sous chef. He mixed the batter - mostly with the spoon.
