Baby In The Cake 2016

Baby In The Cake Day is a favorite around here.  This year it was baby in the cupcake!  While C was at school, these three made and decorated the cakes.
Purple Green and Gold - the colors for Justice, Faith and Power of God.

Oh No!  someone dropped the cupcake carriers on the way out the door.  Does anyone see a tiny baby hand or foot poking out?  Good thing the answer is no because that would be cheating.
 Here is the Krewe:

Thank goodness the cupcakes made it to Snappy's!
Wonder what the neighbors thought of the masked men in the culdesac?
Look at that little one trying to keep up!

 Uh-Oh - looks like K is  high-centered!

Then it was off to dig in the vegetable garden.

Meanwhile the adults remember what they like about Baby in the Cake Day!

What To Do During the Superbowl

February 7, 2016
If you aren't really all that interested in the game OR the commercials.  There are always wings to eat.
Actually this looks like a leg but you get the point.
K is the most attentive or maybe it was the cozy fire.

Snappy played games which probably just annoyed those who really wanted to watch.

There was plenty of time to take a tv watching break.  (note the poor baby's feet sticking out of the tractor!

A little half time outdoor activity helped get some energy out.
Hmmmm....they were left on their own and the decorations soon became a "trap"  Ignore that pitiful winter yard even though it does appear that these kids only have on t-shirts in February!
Bruno Mars had them all stunned.  Charlotte was the only one dancing at the dance party!

Once A Fan

Why make homemade pretzels?  It was super bowl Sunday!  Like a good little Colorado boy, Dustin was/is/always will be a Broncos fan.  Little John Elway was excited for the game.

Pretzel Perfection

These little top chefs love helping make new things.  Today Daddy was top chef and they were working on homemade pretzel perfection.

Melt My Heart

Feburary 4, 2016
Holden does not look like he likes the smell of this little experiment.

But it does involve candy hearts.
Wow!  Learning about how to make a hypothesis.

Then some keen observation.

Vinegar may work better than water but these boys melt Snappy's just by observation.
