Daddy's gone - S&P Sleepover

Michael doesn't go out of town often but we love when he does because we get house guests.  It was a busy weekend because Emily and Snappy were on a mission to get our Christmas shopping done.  Snappy so that she would be organized before surgery and Emily so she would be organized pre-baby.  Papa was in charge almost all weekend long.  It seems that the camera only captured a few moments of the fun.

Yes, Papa continues the tradition that he started with Zachary - you make that mess under the table you need to learn to use the dustbuster and clean it up!

C was happy to see that Snappy had a special treat - cereal that turned your milk into chocolate!  Who knew?  Apparently the existence of Coco Puffs was a well kept secret that is out now!

 And no meal is without its obligatory messy face.  The smoothie made a big slosh and C ended up with a smoothie mustache.

This little guy has a bit of mischief running through him.  Here he has a mouth full of water and is considering spitting it out at his brother.

I would give that look too C.  

 It was so much fun to have you here boys!

Mary Kate

November started out just about PERFECT when Mary & Kate came to visit.  When they were gone Keagan kept asking "Where's MaryKate?"  To him they are a package deal and boy does Snappy wish that package could arrive more frequently.

Channeling a little creativity for the new Baby Humm nursery, these two started a art project where everyone of the boys got to participate.

 They turned out pretty cute!

 And if you were through with your painting, Mary brought markers for writing on Snappy's doors and windows.  Isn't that just genius?

Not sure if you can read these scribble but I am certain they say: We love you "Mary Kate" and wish you could visit much more often!

Cup O' Joe

Looks like Keagan gets his morning started with a cup just like Mama.

And C has one just like Daddy - part of the Beaver Nation.

Trick or Treat 2013

They tried on their costumes (this one is a pre-trick or treat because G did not keep that Cowboy hat on and wanted his face painted like a clown for the real thing!)

 They got their ARRRGGGHH faces on like real pirates.

They had practiced trick or treating.

And were so excited the first time the door bell rang.

Then they wanted to be on the other side of that door and trick or treat Emily to start the night out.

They had flashlights and glow sticks.

And of course their mamas  and daddies in tow.

And they were off for the real thing.

K acted like an old pro - trick or treating with a sucker in hand.

He wasn't the only one who ate while walking...We called G "Fizz-Bo the Cowboy Clown"

They were quite intrigued by the houses that just left their candy on the front porch.

And even the littlest one understood the honor system.  "Take ONE...ok, take TWO"

We might be looking back on it but Halloween sure was fun.

Couldn't resist these from yet one more Pumpkin Patch trip that G & H took with friends.

Halloween Morning 2013

As you know Snappy is still playing catch up while she can't walk!  From the pics I am finding, it looks like there were pumpkin pancakes at the White's house on Halloween 

Beaver Believer

October 2013

C has been to see the Oregon Ducks play football with Papa and Snappy.  But his Daddy is an Oregon State Beaver Believer and that means C is a proud OSU fan too! 

Daddy bought tickets for two and C looks like a pretty happy guy.

And come game day this was a happy little Beaver.  He looks pretty sweet here but....

 but he definitely knows how to get his game face on!

Little Ducks at the Ballpark

What does an Oregon boy do when he wants to play ball?  Go to the ball field even in the rain.

You can run the bases.

H discovers that the bat makes a great stick for splashing around in the puddles.

A real Oregon Duck - look at that rain coming down and he doesn't even care.

But I think he was plotting this!  The boy with no boots on is up to his calves in water!

 You got it K - who needs an umbrella?

 But one thing a little boy needs when out of the house for a while is a potty.  Good thinking mama!
