Thanks to Grandma Susan we had the turkey ready to go. This turkey was missing some feathers - ones we wrote what we are thankful for before dinner.
Who could not be thankful for such sweet little boys?
Or one big boy?
Snappy and Papa were trying for Christmas card photos but boy, did that not work. Griffin was cutting a tooth and out of sorts, Holden was screaming like a cat and Connor was just being shy. Oh well, we had fun watching Elizabeth act CRAZY trying to bring out the smiles.
The table was set.
And one little boy was found sitting by himself just waiting...with all the sliverware he could gather on his plate.
We gathered around the serving table and prayed and someone said "go get your plate." The next thing we knew poor Connor was standing there looking up at his Dad with a little tin plate and a toy plastic fork that he dug out of his toys. The poor boy was starving and clearly was listening to instructions.
After dinner we read the "thankful" feathers and tried to guess who wrote them. It was harder than you might think. Except for Papa who wrote "Go Ducks!" at the end of every one of his.
We are very thankful!
