Can you find a bear on a rainy fall day in the suburbs? Well, you can walk in the "woods"
You can climb a tree.
You can run in the wet leaves.
And after you can have whipped cream and hot chocolate in your "undies" - thanks Aunt Liz who put a cookie sheet on the floor under the hot chocolate. Oh, the improvising that goes on around here these days. (By the way, the undies were a purchase today and C was a BIG boy using the potty at Snappy's house. But then we had a bit of an accident while having hot chocolate on the kitchen floor. Whipped cream, hot chocolate, graham crackers and pee! Definitely a bath was next on the agenda.)

Holden is drooling on his hands wondering when he gets some - or at least wondering what kind of fun things Aunt Emily has cooked up for him because it definitely seems like his mama likes to "treat" Connor. Isn't that what an Aunt is for? Mama's can be strict and aunts let you do CRAZY things. Thanks for that model, Aunt Kate.
I am sure Aunt Emily has something planned for you too, Griffin.
Bathed, warm, dry, and ready to play...we could only find one clean sock though! Emily was a substitute teacher at her old school today so Snappy had a fun day with her boys - the house may not be cleaned or the menu planned for Thanksgiving but maybe if we run out of time, we could just have bear . . . and hot chocolate.

Those Aunts are a blessing, my children would not have survived without Aunt Toni....well they may have survived but would not have had much fun...She took them for walks and played whatever they wanted....HooRah for those Aunts...
