Surrender Day 3, part 1

Connor still struggles with bedtime.  Who knows what will work from one day to the next.  Snappy promised on Friday at nap time that if he would lie down and go to sleep he could come over to my house.  He did it but woke up crying about 40 minutes later and his mama did not look happy.  So Snappy went back in and said "Mama says you can't go to my house until you go back to sleep and wake up happy."  So he did.

Once he got to Snappy and Papa's house and everyone came for dinner, his daddy was out of town, it seemed like the perfect reason to just spend the night.  Snappy put him in his crib, told him all the great things he and Papa could do in the morning if he went to sleep like a big boy.  So he did.
He woke up ready to go.
Got dressed quickly in warm clothes and was ready to be Papa's shadow.  (A shadow with BEAUTIFUL eyelashes)
Emily and I thought this seemed like a perfect time to go to Target and Costco.  So WE did.
