Our big adventure started at 4 am when we headed to the airport. Yes, we had two vans, five adults, (Papa was in Florida and missed this fun part of the trip), five kids, five checked bags, 10 carry-on, 10 "personal items" (mostly back packs) two giant strollers, five carseats. Did I mention it was 4 am?
But these kiddos were ready to go and oh so helpful!
Yes, Emily started passing out donuts before we even got to check in!
Holden considered a last minute snooze in his car seat before it got checked.
Griffin and Keagan were chilling in the "Bob" while kids or bags filled the "Phil & Ted". Snappy thought it was crazy that Bob and Phil&Ted were coming on our trip but she was OH SO WRONG. They were amazing workhorses - the sherpas that helped us manage to keep this group moving.
Vanilla steamers in your Mickey jammies so early in the morning are a sure sign of fun things to come.
Already got their wings and they haven't even gotten on the plane!
We love JetBlue. Cartoons, lots of snacks, super nice kid friendly people, big seats and notice on the right - Holden said "Daddy said we could have our own can of soda." That has never happened in their lives and it was a sign there was some major bribery happening to make sure everyone behaved. Snappy is happy to report that she is not really sure it was necessary
We arrived in CA and put sherpa Bob to work. Someone did hear a Jet Blue employee say that we were obviously Mormon! What does that mean?
Now we are ready for a long car ride to Aunt Kate's.
