Party Time

One batman was up and ready.

Trying to see out of these masks is hard enough but it is really a challenge with your hands are over your eyes to hold it on.  Holden, are you in there?
Love this boy and his break with tradition - Superman is one of Batman's superhero friends, right?
 SuperMama came too.
And she brought that strong Superdaddy along for protection.
Then it was off to the Bat Cave for a batman story (Thank you Brian and Suzy for having all these empty closet cubby spaces!)  The flash on the camera does not really show what was going on here.  They were in the almost dark and then the batlight went on signaling TROUBLE.  Batman and his friends were needed.
Snappy does not claim to remember the complete scenario.  (We had instructions written on a paper plate to try to execute Emily's plan!)  After coming out of the batcave there were all given cans of silly string (first experience with that lovely item!) and sent out to the beach to find the bad guy.

They tied him up good with the silly stuff and took off running.  Not sure they really liked this guy in the black mask.

He did call them back to show them it was only pretend.
I think this was supposed to be a minefield of bombs that needed to be detonated but actually they mostly got thrown at the bad guy!  Dustin scored a perfect hit.

Then it was back inside where there were energy pills to be released  (m&ms inside the balloons that had to be popped.

And some kind of creepy hall to head down before finding....
The hidden treasure.  There were batman washcloths that expanded when they got wet, bat man figurines and Ringpops that were a big hit
Oh this was fun!
