While the kids napped, the party planners went to work. Grandma Susan and I were amazed at the creativity. Susan says they just went to Chuckie Cheese when her kids were little. I said the same thing but then the girls reminded me of the time Kate and I dressed as clowns and put on a whole magic show, and a double dare party and one of the boys cowboy parties in the park. Oh yeah...we were pretty creative, huh Kate?
Well despite the fact that we floated many many ideas that had more of a "beachy" theme, Connor really wanted BATMAN for his 4th birthday - so Batman it was. The capes were ready - some made by Snappy, some from other parties that the twins had been to, some just from pajamas.
The party set up was in motion.
Batman gifts were lined up.
He was specific that he wanted a purple cake with batman roping the joker and Emily did a wonderful job at creating it!
We were ready and waiting when the kids woke up from naps.
