It was back to the beach for our little clan. Last year it was to celebrate Holden and Griffin's birthday and this year it was to celebrate Connor David's 4th!
The day started a little shakey. Snappy was called to a last minute meeting so she was feeling a little rushed. Elizabeth had to head over to pick Snap up and got caught in multiple traffic snags. Finally we hit the road and were only a few blocks when Emily called to say they were in McMinville and the minivan would not start! With C just about in tears because he thought he would we weren't going to make it to the beach, we turned around and went back to get Snappy's car. Got out of the neighborhood and Em called again to say the Jiffy Lube across the street jumped them and they were ready to go. So that left Elizabeth and I in two cars and we just did NOT want to turn around so we stopped by the Whites house and dropped the car off there. Poor Holden and Griffin had now been riding around for an hour and we had not even left town!
There were some whipping winds and sand blowing into little faces but we were happy to arrive.
Charlotte who screamed most of the way was ready to conk out and Snappy was all too happy to oblige with a seat with a perfect view.
Holden James was not too big on this windy afternoon ...
...but these three couldn't resist getting their toes wet.
Pacific City we are glad to see you! Now we just have to wait for Papa, Dustin and Grandma Susan to arrive. Let the weekend begin!
