It was a happy happy birthday for Elizabeth as she introduced Charlotte to the joys of having a birthday right after a holiday. Snappy is still not up to speed but she and Papa did manage to make brisket, twice baked potatoes, baked shrimp, salad and rolls. How the table was set or the meal was served? Well that is a bit crazy these days. We are now 11 people just for a family dinner and at least four of us don't want to sit at the table for more than 10 minutes and one has people lined up to hold her rather than eat. We were going to try for a family pic but it was just too hard. This is the best we could do.
Little boys in strips and big boys in grey - looks like we just made a prison break. Oh Charlotte, you have no idea what chaos you are joining. The boys did help Elizabeth on a scavenger hunt for her presents and we did have cake and icecream even if we cut it before we remembered we had to sing Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday to you Elizabeth....we all love you so much and celebrate you even if it didn't seem like a party.
