It Takes a Village

Emily told Connor today that it definitely takes a village to help take care of all these boys.  We may not be a village but we are definitely a pretty committed tribe.  While Emily spent Monday morning at the hospital, Snappy got to have some C time.
And Tuesday, Connor not only had Snappy time, he got a Snappy haircut.  Now it was pretty brave of Emily to trust me with the scissors and her son since I spent the night at the hospital on Monday night.  Papa came to take C while Snappy slept and then Papa walked to Michael's baseball game to watch him again until Emily could come home - whew, it is hard to keep everyone straight.  What did people do before cell phones?

With each hair cut C looks more like a big boy, and not like a baby.  He even has the cut on his chin to prove his rough and tumble big boy ways.
Elizabeth is having a blood transfusion, Griffin is losing weight so no going home today.  Maybe tomorrow.  Snappy has one more night at the hospital.  At least this time I will be prepared and not be in work clothes, high heels and with no contact case.  So fun to snuggle with these little guys.
