Where was Snappy while all of this fun was going on back home? She was having her own fun with Toni in Memphis! We had a great lunch on a patio at The Elegant Farmer.
And since we were only blocks from the first house Papa and Snappy ever bought, we just had to stop by. So many memories! Bringing Elizabeth home from the hospital, a full house for 18 months when Papa Jon had his stroke. When we glassed in that side porch. When Fred laid that brick sidewalk. When Emily was born right under those front windows!
And that giant, giant oak tree.
