Sewing Pelts

Holden called Snappy one morning and said he really needed a Native American vest. (Thank you Indian In The Cupboard!) He also said he needed Papa to shoot something for the fur on it and could Snappy please make something that would make his skin red.  Ok, that last part might not be so politically correct but probably the whole Indian in the cupboard is not p.c either,
nor shooting things.  Oh well, teaching boys to sew...that is p.c. in Project Runway-centric Portlandia!

Connor and Keagan heard about Holden and Griffin getting to help make vests and even getting to sew them (no pics of that) so of course they wanted a turn too.
They were very serious and very good.  They picked out the fancy stitches they wanted to use and carefully guided the fabric with both hands.
Each vest had Native American symbols we got from the internet.  And pelts from Michael's Craft store (sorry Papa!) It was a fun project!  What will you think up next Holden-the-costume-man?
