Wednesday, August 21
It was early morning on Wednesday - Day 5 and we are headed for a BIG day of activities but STOP, LOOK, there are people playing tennis!
And there are fish swimming in this lake! But read that sign - NO SWIMMING!
Protect our eyes from the Central Oregon sunshine.
And once we rented our canoes, we had life jackets to put on!
Ready, set, go Keagan go!
Griffin wanted to go with Snappy and Papa.
Do you think we will have paddle boarding like those kids out there in our future?
Keagan was loaded into the GIRLS canoe with Emily and Elizabeth.
And Connor - with his daddy of course!
Same for Holden - two big boys canoeing with their dads.
Wait - set change. Keagan did not like sitting with his mama - much preferring the squishy lap of Snappy. And Griffin wanted to switch to his mama.
One stanza of "My paddle's clean and bright, flashing like silver" and K was sound asleep. Guess that means Snappy can't paddle anymore.
Then Griffin wanted his dad and Holden and Connor switched to their moms - that is a lot of passing kids over from canoe to canoe. Thank goodness nobody was dropped in the water and no canoes tipped over.
"Dip, dip and swing and back...flashing like silver. My paddle's clean and bright. Dip dip and swing."
