We met the characters, walked Downtown Disney, had a good night's sleep and a yummy breakfast and we were ready to start the day's adventures.  We set our expectations low - be happy if we ride at least 3-4 things, be prepared to split up if it is not working hanging out together, be ok with tears (kids and adults!)  Since Snappy writes this months later, she is happy to report that none of these things took place.  We covered 18-20  rides in the first day, had no tears, stuck together the whole time with everyone just switching up who rode with whom happily every time.  Pure Magic.

Perhaps it all started with Griffin so willing to share his "injury" Mickey Mouse with Charlotte!

Maybe it is because she was willing to share her wand with him!

Literally walked across the street from the hotel and were going through security.

These four were already mastering the climbing on and hanging from fences and railings.  This was a favorite activity while waiting in line.  So much so that there was some discussion that perhaps they just need to build a maze of railings in their back yard to keep them occupied.

The head mouseketeer was the girl with the bright red pouch.  She had the whole two days mapped out to maximize rides, minimize lines.  She kept all passes in her pouch and would run off to grab the next fast passes to keep us on schedule.  She was AMAZING.

How many times will we see this in the next two days?  Papa Two Glasses.

 We made it into the park and now just have to wait for them to open up and let us GO!  Excitement is building!

The Jacaranda trees were in full purple bloom adding to the special atmosphere.

The cord was dropped and we headed to the castle and Fantasyland while Elizabeth took off to get our Space Mountain Fast Passes.  She sent us a text with her spotting one of our favorite Disney couples - It's a Jolly Holiday with you Bert and Mary Poppins!

Holden is actually in the seat under Charlotte!  So happy to have those strollers with us.  That definitely helped keep kiddos happy as they always had a chance to sit a minute, take a ride and not get so worn out.

Off to our first ride of the day - Peter Pan's Flight.  Our longest wait (25 minutes) of the entire trip.

And while we waited were were being spied on by this wicked lady.

Charlotte would wave her wand and shout "Go Away!" and that Wicked Stepmother would close the curtains!

And our FastPass procurer was happy to be back in time to see her boys take their first ride.

And after we even ran into old Hook!

Charlotte didn't love Mr. Toad's Wild ride and was more than happy to get out and safely into Papa's arms.

Teacups!  Forever a favorite - just not for Elizabeth and Snappy who more than happily stayed out and took pics.  At first Connor and Holden jumped in with Papa, Emily and Charlotte.  But then .....

they noticed the boys teacup!

That probably made for a better less spinning ride for Charlotte who happily waved as she spun by.

And the boys?  they were just crazy spinning.  Could someone tell me where Keagan is?  Did he spin out?

There he is!  With a smile too!

Mickey was enjoying a good spin too.

We covered Sleeping Beauty's Castle, Peter Pan's Flight, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Tea Party, Pinocchio's Daring Journey, Snow White's Scary Adventure.   Well, Fantasyland it was fun and we will be back for more but our fastpass is calling us to...
