Taking It To The Sky

Superheros met at the park at the South Waterfront.
Snappy might not be ready to run down that hill but superman can.
And snappy is pretty good at getting drinks of water.

Some of us were feeling a little anxious which is why the super hero costumes were needed.  To remind us that bravery is not being unafraid but is is acting anyway even when we are afraid.

And what was all this about....taking a tram ride for the first time.  We drive under it all the time - some of us multiple times a day but finally it was time to see what it was all about while hanging from those cables.
We sat on the bench and watched a couple of cars load and unload.

You can tell C is nervous by the hand on the belly button.

Stickers were passed out and we were on our way.

Every one was happy when we got to the top - everyone but Aunt Liz who said we combined all of her fears into one experience.  Enclosed spaces, heights and hospitals.  (the tram takes you up to Oregon Health Sciences University hospital)  Emily's fears of Charlotte and germs were heightened when a stranger reached over and started kissing CA's legs but that's another story.

The super heroes declared the skies about Portland safe.
