When the sun shines in Portland in the spring, we pretend it is summer.
We lay out on a blankets in the grass.
We did our toes in the sand.
We paint outside without our shirts on.
We don't even worry when our pants won't stay up.
Because...hey! There is a pool to jump in.
We find toys that have been put away since last year.
We stomp and squirt water.
We play soccer in our rain boots...with a basketball.
Spring we really love you!
We spray the water hose.
We wear sunglasses and put out bird houses.
We use bug catchers.
We simply love spring that looks like summer.
