You know how many times we practiced for egg hunting? Well with all these little men we have lots of practice - how to hit the ball, put your napkin on your lap and now how to get ready for the Fourth of July and FIREWORKS!
We practice sitting patiently.
We practice clapping when we they are finished.
We practice lining them up to help Papa.
The big boy shows the little boys all about the fuses.
C rubs his belly button when he is tired and I just couldn't resist these because they show it was at the end of a long day. Everyone had been bathed and put in jammies before the show.
He was outwardly super excited to get to fireworks and I don't think he even realized how tired he was but the belly proves it.
And G? He just wanted to go inside. UH-OH - he is maybe not going to like this holiday. At least not like he liked Easter candy.
So he watched from the door with his daddy.
PS - this was trick photography. It was not dark at all since it does not get dark around here until about 10 pm but the boys did not seem to care that we were shooting off fireworks in broad daylight!
Practice, practice, practice...it makes perfect and this night was just perfect.
