Dozer Days

Such fun for Snappy and Papa (ok, so it was REALLY fun for Papa) to head to Vancouver for Dozer Days!  This is a fundraiser for a foundation and the idea is that they open this rock quarry and have all this heavy equipment for the kids to "drive".  I have never seen so many boys in muddy Carharts and jeans.  You could ride in a dump truck to get into the quarry or just crawl on construction equipment and emergency vehicles..

And then came the lines...good thing we had Papa who is a patient line holder.  C and K could go watch the equipment at work.

Go C Go!  Driving a back hoe!

There were all kinds of other activities from coloring walls, to digging in pits, to climbing on BIG tires, to crawling through concrete culverts and plastic pipes.  It was boy heaven.
Keagan was too little to "drive" but her could dig - they did have a pit filled with gems including a $6K diamond but it cost $2 per minute so Snappy just took K to the sandbox.
K was such a big boy ready to climb into pipes over and over!

And in the end, even if we are in a muddy gravel pit we can still have fun with some shave ice!
