Pumpkin Fest

The sun was out.  The Humms and Whites headed out to the Tualatin Commons for the Annual Pumpkin Regala. It is a fun festival with lots of pumpkin activities-including giant pumpkin carved out and turned into boats that are raced in the lake!

Connor, using the only left handed club, attempted to hit his ball into the floating pumpkin.

Of course we had to take our turn riding the tractor!

Griff is usually called Elizabeth's mini-me, but this picture he sure looks like his daddy to me!

We ate a yummy lunch outside and were heading over to pet the llamas and then ride the choo-choo train when the sky literally opened up and the massive rainstorm began! It was nuts! We shoved our way under the tent literally squished right up next Rita the llama!

We watched the rain pour down and wondered just how long were we going to be stuck under a tent with two llamas!

Rita the llama- dressed in Halloween attire. While we waited for the storm to pass, we watched a lady let Rita eat a slice of cheese from her mouth. Disgusting.

Dustin had gone to get a coffee right before the storm began.  He had just run to get under the tent when at that exact moment the side of the tent dropped a HUGE bucket of water...all over his back! Unfortunately we didn't capture this moment but his face looked something like this! It may have ended abruptly and wet but it was still a fun one!

You got all four in these pictures...They are all so cute...and you actually got to stay with the llamas for a while...Sorry Dustin got so wet, but those surprises happen often around here a lot. Glad it was a fun day too. The pictures are all so good. xoxoxo
