A LONG Story

This is going to be a long post.  The hair was getting long.  Some said a haircut was long overdue.  But it has been a long time before Snappy could even post the pictures because she is sad the day finally came.

The hair was getting really long but are these curls not just the cutest thing ever?

 But some days those sides looked pretty wild.

 So one night after dinner and bath at Snappy and Papa's house it was decided that the time was right.  

 Griffin was sad.  Snappy was sad.  His mama was sad.

 But his daddy really wanted to do the deed ( please note that he did not want Snappy to be in charge)

 He snipped a bit here and there.  Cut a big chunk when Elizabeth insisted on having at least one curl to keep.

 G combed and behaved himself.

 He played with everything on Snappy's bathroom counter.

 Including the make up and we were so focused on the hair that even though it is not in the pics, no one notice he was taking mascara to his leg.

 Mama was looking very worried.

 And finally it was done.

And when it was over - D decided to give H a trim too.  

This was NOT in ET's plan.

 After it was over, Mama and Snappy were proud of how good G & H were for their first hair cuts but so sad to see those baby curls go away.
