After having C and H yesterday, Fred planned a night of Christmas shopping. As we drove C home we detoured to look at some Christmas lights. He still faces backwards in his mom's car but in my car he gets to ride looking forward. We would pass the lights and he would say "Mo, Papa, mo" I am sure you get that means "more." It was a Snappy moment. I would give up all the shopping in the world to ride around with a little boy saying "Mo" We were too late for shopping...just had dinner and enjoyed the moment. Which brings us to today...
D and F went to a Duck basketball game in Eugene - their first opportunity to see the new Matthew Knight Arena. They said it was pretty darn cool. So ET and Snappy had a pretty darn cool time just hanging out while they were gone.
This sweet boy was sleeping under the tree when I got there.
G is getting pretty close to his old self - or maybe the pain meds just make these toys seem really cool.
We tried to make hand and foot prints but this is what we got - it was hysterical. This is why you pay someone else to make this stuff.
Let's just play with our silver rattles - to heck with that hand print stuff.
"Hey Holden - you want me to read you this book? You have been an amazing trouper through this too buddy. I guess you deserve some "mom" time since I have been hogging her."
Snappy is soooo tired. Still has lots to do before Christmas but given the chance, she wouldn't change a thing.
