Just A July Day

There has been a LOT of togetherness this summer since Michael had to work and Emily was incapacitated.  On July 23, 2015 Holden and Griffin went off with their mama for some fun.  Wait!  Did Snappy say fun?  It was actually a reptile show.  I hope Griffin's face in this pic means he will never want a pet snake. 

Connor talks about pythons alot.  At bed time that night, Girffin had been laying in the dark for quite a while.  Elizabeth was sitting in the rocking chair in silence like the old lady in Good Night Moon.  Suddenly G's little voice pipes up "Mama, Connor doesn't know everything about pythons!"  I guess it was a good day at the snake show G.

Kate and Curt were off checking out some downtown Portland.  The Humm kiddos were hanging out again under Snappy's care.  At nap time K wanted to sleep on the camping cot and G wanted the mattress that pulls out from under the twin bed in the play room.  Wherever is fine with Snappy as long as they took a nap.

This boy cracks me up.  Couldn't miss having these pics in Snappy's stories.

We have a boy big enough to sneak!  Snappy always keeps something in at least one of these covered stands.  Usually it is some type of bread - zucchini, banana, pumpkin.  And now we have a boy big enough to hit it all by himself - how did that happen?  And if you look closely it looks like chocolate cupcakes from the unbirthday party that he is sneaking.

Kids with dads while the rest of us when to dinner and to share some Salt & Straw ice cream.  Wonderful fun flavors - balsamic strawberry, lavender, olive oil, salted caramel and can't remember the twist on the chocolate one.  They were all wonderful but I think Olive Oil was the biggest hit.
