Better than a birthday? A Baptism of course.
Keagan Jacob you are such a reminder to us all that in the middle of all the craziness of our busy lives God has blessed us beyond measure. We love you sweet boy and were so happy on your baptism day.
Getting dressed in his heirloom baptismal gown - the same one worn by Connor, his daddy, his uncles, his grandpa, his great grandpa, his great-great grandpa and his great-great-great grandpa. A beautiful gown and a beautiful Humm tradition.
Grandma - these shoes don't fit me!
The Baptism was a private family mass at the Jesuit chapel with Father William Hayes, S.J. who married Emily and Michael.
Blessing by God Father Ryan.
No tears at all.
Parents and Godparents getting their instructions.
Papa and his buddy watching.
Snappy trying to keep Holden corralled.
Love This.
Fr. Hayes and Jesuit students from the class of:
Michael '00, Emily '01, Ryan '02, Katie '04 and Keagan '30
At the conclusion of Mass, Emily and Michael praying for their children at the statue of the Black Virgin of Montserrat - a replica of the one in Spain where St. Ignatius laid down his arms and began the Society of Jesus - the Jesuits.
